New address. New studio. Bigger dreams.
Well… the bubbles are officially moving. 🫧📦
After 40 years in Troy, Missouri, I’m closing one very meaningful chapter and opening the door to an entirely new one.
I am incredibly excited to announce that I am officially the new owner of…

And tucked into my new home will be something I’ve dreamed about for a very long time…
🫧 The Lather Landing
The new home of Oily Escapades.
This isn’t simply a change of address.
It’s a Major Move.
Over the years, Oily Escapades has grown from an idea, a little creativity and a whole lot of “let’s see if this works”… into a business I am incredibly proud of.
There have been markets and milestones.
New products and new opportunities.
Experiments, successes, lessons, late nights, laughter…and more than a few soap shenanigans along the way.
And somewhere in the middle of building the business, I was building myself, too.
We’ve come a long way—both personally and professionally.
Now it’s time to build again.
The Lather Landing at Coastal Grace Cottage will give Oily Escapades room to grow, create, expand and dream a little bigger.
A dedicated soap studio.
More organized production space.
Room for photography and content creation.
Market prep and product displays.
And plenty of space for whatever crazy, sudsy idea I come up with next. 😉
Forty years of memories are coming with me.
But so are some pretty big dreams.
So here’s to honoring where we’ve been, being grateful for how far we’ve come, and having the courage to make a few Major Moves when the next chapter comes calling.
