✨This strategy is called “empathy marketing” and is a “feel-good” technique that focuses on the emotional relationship with a customer. Brilliantly done by Nick Jr. on the 25th anniversary of Blues Clues. 💙💙👏🏼
Even though I am a marketer and I know these strategies, I still burst into tears. I even chocked up the words “why did you leave me, Steve?! 😭”

✨A true social media manager will understand the complexities of each of your social media platforms. From placing advertising, creating a content strategy as well as understanding and acting upon engagement data. I’m seeing a ton of social media companies popping up all over town - I get it, it probably seems like an easy way to supplement income, but many seem to only specialize on one platform. My question is … why would a business owner hire a social media manager who can only use one social media platform? Companies cannot be expected to hire 3 to four companies just to run their Instagram, Facebook LinkedIn and YouTube pages.
✨Here’s my tip for today. please ask questions, ask for references and make sure the person you hire to manage your social platforms has experience managing several platforms for several companies at once. Here’s something else to look out for, social media managers like myself use powerful social publishing tools such as Hootsuite and Salesforce so you as the business owner can keep your own accounts on your phone. If anyone insists they NEED your company accounts on their personal phone that should be a red flag. 🚩🚩🚩🚩
