Old dog, new tricks - part deux.
Pre-seaming has been around for probably 7 ish years. I couldn’t fathom the benefit around it due to the amount of space I thought was needed to preseam these 12 foot panels…and transporting a 12 foot, 20lb roll.
Then I saw a video of a guy laying down the side of a c-class motorhome in roughly 3 mins, solo after set up.
Turns out, pre-seaming took just a little more time to prep as it took to prep panels how I had always done, so a wash on time there.
The application though….cutting approximately 4-6 hours off in panel set up and alignment.
From anchor to peel, this is 26 mins elapsed into 40 secs applying a 12’x30’ decal. In 4.5 hours, 2 of us completed about 98% of the side install detail; faster without rivets I believe. The old way, we may have reached about 50%.
