Hi, hello! Happy New Year 🎆

I know it's been a while since I posted here, but I wanted to give you all an update on what happened, so be prepared for a very vulnerable post!

2021 was one of the hardest years of my life. I started the year working for a company that made my life a hell. I was already trying to deal with my PPD/ PPA, and that job made things worse. They didn't respect the fact that I was a mom trying to get back to work and provide for her family while her husband was studying his butt off to do well in Medical School.

I left that job and decided that it was time to start my own business. I had some help from mentors and friends I made here in this community. But I wasn't 100% ready.

I hit a point where my depression spoke louder than my dreams, and I was living in a “survival mode.” Taking any client that was willing to pay me, getting tons of dogs to take care of on Rover to be able to pay all our bills. I even joined a local marketing agency to help me bring extra income.

Because of all of that, I ended up leaving my dream on the side.

But as the quote says, sometimes all we need is a second chance. And that's what I'm doing for Dea. I'm giving that second chance.

I hope that in 2022, I can help you and your business achieve your goals and make your dreams come true. I will slowly come back to post tips and educational posts here, but I just want to say THANK YOU! Thanks to all of you who are still here supporting me. That means the world to me.

What is your WHY? Why did you start your business? Well friends, that cute little girl is my WHY.

I decided to quit my comfortable 9-5 job, which wasn't really making any good for me mentally, to start my dream business and be able to spend more time with my daughter.

I have to say that I thought the journey would be easier, but there are so many days where I felt I wanted to give up, where I felt too tired to finish a task, or too tired to create content for my own business. I live with the pressure that I'm the one providing for my family while my husband goes through school. But I keep reminding myself about my WHY.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE what I do, but some days are just so hard to continue. But my WHY gives me the strength that I need to keep going and keep building the business I always dreamed of.

I want to know what's your WHY! What motivated you to keep building your team or working on what you do now. 🤗
