The Soapbox was founded in February 2018 and is growing in leaps and bounds everyday; not necessarily in large numbers; but growing in a way that builds better relationships and businesses. We only have two representatives max from each category, and only one from any given company at any time. We are a like-minded bunch of people; we all want great business relationships with others, and to help our members grow their businesses successfully. If YOU are such a person, and are looking for a group like ours, let us know. We look forward to hearing from you and learning about your business.

Am tentatively looking for a new venue for The Soapbox, yesterday we packed the house! Love the Speakeasy at Vero Amore, but if we keep growing the way we are, we will need to move. Any ideas people? Middle of town-ish please, lets keep it central. TIA!

Meeting this Tuesday 21st August: Vero Amore 11:30! We have a great speaker, and a little “show” lined up for you all! Remember: think about any outside referrals you got from someone in the group and let us know! Also, think about anyone you could invite, our full categories at this moment include Life Coach, mortgage and lending, massage. Please stick to what you started with when you joined the group, unless I have been notified of a ‘career’ change; it makes it fair for everyone in the group, and easier to limit to 2 per category. I may be just a couple of mins late as we are having photos taken at my new studio location, but will be there to collect dues and give receipts. Thanks in advance everyone, and I’ll see you all on Tuesday!

Hi everybody! No meeting this week; the next on is August 7th.
Couple of things; we will have 45 second marketing messages, but they will be timed. Tried to keep it a little looser, but it didn't work, lol.
Also, whatever you came into the group as, is your category. IF we don't have someone else representing another category that you also do; then speaking about that occasionally is fine. We just don't want to be inundated with several people doing the same thing!
Again; there will only be one person from each company; but 2 maximum in the same profession. We only hold meetings twice a month; so if you'd like to represent a certain category, then once a month minimum attendance is required, as holding up a category without attendance is not fair to someone else who may want it.
Testimonials in order of where you are seated, and if you don't have any, please just pass and leave it to the next person.
One last thing; UNLESS you are the spotlight speaker, please place all leaflets etc on the bar for people to take if they want as it disrupts whoever is speaking when they are being passed around.
These are valid points that have been brought to my attention by other members. Please be courteous and try not to hog all the time, lol!
