Itās not a surprise anymore when I tell my family or friends that I am planning another adventure. Their initial reaction is to ask me āWhere you going this time?ā And my response normally is a detailed itinerary of the area that Iām exploring.
However, this adventure that I am embarking on isnāt like the others that Iāve done in the past. Itās going to be an adventure of personal growth, freedom and give me the ability to live the life that I have been dreaming of since High School.
Itās defining the social norms of todayās society of working a corporate 9 to 5 job for the next 40 years of your life. For what? To not be present in your family or friends life, missing events due to you not having the personal time off.
This online movement does not only give me the financial freedom I have been wanting for years. It gives me my life back and the opportunity to say yes to more adventures, rather than worrying about how many hours of PTO I have left.
