As an independent insurance agency owner, I work with dozens of carriers every single day. But moments like this remind me that the best carrier relationships are about more than rates, underwriting, or policies.
Recently, I checked my email and found out my Liberty Mutual Sr Territory Manager had sent a baby gift for our family. That simple gesture genuinely made my day.
It reminded me why partnerships matter so much in this industry.
People often think independent agents just “shop insurance,” but the reality is we build real relationships with the carriers we trust to protect our clients. Some companies become more than markets — they become true business partners.
I want to publicly thank Liberty Mutual Insurance for always treating agents like people, not production numbers. That support, communication, and partnership mentality matters more than ever in today’s insurance world.
