So much included that we needed a Part 2!

Once we have a logo, colors, and fonts, we need to put it all together with media assets and a website to really bring a brand to life.

Check out what else we built for Qudrat Wasefi in advance of his debut album "Connection" (now streaming!) 👉

And if you've thought to yourself "wow neat I'd like to do a brand refresh 🤔" then don't be a stranger and say hello!

A custom site built via Squarespace -- which we're a fan of because it's one of the most user-friendly platforms for artists to update on their own as new projects are released.

We include some light custom coding to give it a bit of uniqueness while still keeping it sleek for easy maintenance. Optimized for both desktop and mobile, of course.

Why hide your music when you can proudly display your scores to the world so folks can easily peruse and purchase sheet music? A digital score storefront means that more people can have access to your compositions with built-in filtering so users can easily find the pieces that best fit their needs.

A website is useless if no one can find it! Metadata, SEO descriptions, and alt text for every image and page means that search engines can better read and push out your site. Pepper throughout that some high-performing keywords, and your site will no longer be buried on page 4 of Google.

Logos and graphics are fine and dandy, but we want to see YOU. For Qudrat, we maximized our time recording his album by also squeezing in a photoshoot. Knowing that we're also developing a website and social content means that we can ensure we take photos that work well in different formats, e.g. a horizontal hero image for a website or a clean professional headshot for work.

Performance and rehearsal footage is a great opportunity to build excitement for new releases (like the launch of a refreshed brand!). We keep the cameras rolling and provide a collection of edited social-ready content as well as raw footage to create even more assets for the future.

So you've got a shiny new brand, but what do you do with it? Our brand strategy sessions cover branding & identity, audience development, social media, playlist pitching, and a

We'll say it again for the folks in the back: a logo by itself is not a brand! When we work with our clients, we make sure they receive a jam packed brand kit with easy-to-use assets so that they can focus on their art. Less time spent picking fonts and colors means more time spent making sweet sweet music for us all to enjoy.

Working with Qudrat Wasefi was a treat, as we blended Afghan traditional elements with clean lines and modern minimalism in advance of his debut album.

Swipe to see how this brand was brought to life 👉

The logo is inspired by the designs of Afghan Bokhara rugs, and -- more specifically -- the 'gul,' a repetitive medallion-like design commonly found in the hand-woven carpets of Afghanistan.

Using the same geometric shape philosophy of the gul, the logo is constructed of an octagonal shape, with internal designs that abstractly depict a trumpet and rubab coming together in the center.

The full lockup of the logo pairs the medallion with a clean, simple, and modern sans serif typeface with geometric form and uniform shapes. The result is a logo that merges cultural tradition with modernity for a professional, contemporary brand that honors its history.

Color and layout variations ensure that the logo can be used on light and dark backgrounds and across different print and digital applications.

The primary typeface is Twentieth Century Monotype (TW Cen MT), a sans serif typeface designed by Sol Hess for the Landston Monotype Company.

The typeface is geometric, clean, and versatile, ensuring clear legibility across sizes.

The secondary typeface is Helvetica Neue, a sans serif typeface designed by Max Miedinger for the Linotype Design Studio.

Similar to the primary typeface, this font family is sans serif with clean lines. But while TW Cen MT uses many sharp angles, Helvetica Neue has more blunt edges and squared-off geometry that align with the client's preferred style for body and paragraph text.

The color palette is simultaneously muted and colorful, inspired by Afghanistan's diverse landscapes. The reds and oranges depict the warm tones of the southwestern plateau and deserts, the cool blues reflect the snow-covered mountains

Art and design for "Spilling the T" by Kelvyn Koning!

The moment Kelvyn shared the name for the book, my mind immediately went to images of collages and the painterly, playful style of illustrators like Eric Carle (author of The Very Hungry Caterpillar and other iconic children's stories).

The book spans four years, as a collection of journal entries, personal musings, and social commentary that highlights little glimpses of humanity over a soundtrack of loudspeaker announcements and screeching railways from Boston's iconic rail line.

Such a fun project, and I hope to play with this art style more in the future.

The grand reveal of 's new mural!

After many days of hard work (that red paint took SO many coats...) I'm so pleased with how it all turned out. Hoping that this art can bring some creative inspiration to all who walk through Passim's School of Music for many years to come.

Painting a mural for 's new office space/school of music!

This was such an exciting project for me - Passim was one of the first places I visited (and eventually worked at) when moving to Massachusetts. It's where I met so many of the most incredible musicians, forming lifelong friendships and an unending catalogue of great music to listen to.

Getting to leave my mark through this mural was a huge honor, and I can't wait to share the full reveal in part 2 :)

Thrilled to be supporting this beautiful cause, a concert and reception supporting the incredible work for the Harvard Square Homeless Shelter.

All proceeds go towards the shelter to provide crucial services for those unhoused. Come join us as we film the event, to be held TOMORROW at the First Church in Cambridge.

Creating this psychedelic poster for Out to Lunch's upcoming show was so much fun. The piece was created with handdrawn illustrations inspired by Pink Floyd and other iconic band designs from the 70s and 80s, paired with OtL's signature imagery of a brain.

Boston friends, go check out this one-of-a-kind, experimental music show at the Lilypad on May 24!
