Tomorrow on People Helping People, I sit down with Zach Skow, founder of Marley’s Mutts Dog Rescue, for a powerful conversation about addiction, survival, redemption—and the dogs that helped save his life.

At just 28 years old, Zach was battling end-stage liver disease and was given only 90 days to live without a transplant. When he had nearly lost hope, his rescue dogs gave him purpose, responsibility and a reason to keep fighting.

That second chance became Marley’s Mutts—a movement founded on the belief that rescued dogs can rescue people, too.

We talk about Zach’s road to recovery, the bond that changed the direction of his life, and how programs like Pawsitive Change are now bringing healing, hope and purpose to at-risk shelter dogs and incarcerated people alike.

This conversation is a reminder that no life is beyond saving—and sometimes purpose finds us in the places we least expect.
