TULSA MUSIC SPOTLIGHT 🎵 : Dime Store Riot

Tulsa-based band Dime Store Riot is building momentum with a gritty, high-energy alt-rock sound and a strong presence on the road.

In 2025, they played 26 shows—including 10 out of state—expanding their reach with support from the FMAC Touring Fund. Their 2026 schedule is already taking them coast-to-coast, sharing stages with acts like Rehab and Scotty Austin (Saving Abel) while headlining shows across the country.

They also released a 6-song EP in November, rolling out a series of singles that highlight their evolving sound.

Okay, it's time to get this party started! Let me introduce myself - I'm Jodi, aka MizzFireballz, the one and only first Miss Rawk the River. After taking the crown, I joined forces with John and Chelsea to bring you more awesomeness. This year, I'm not just in charge of the Miss and Mr Rawk the River contest - I've got a bigger role. I'm proud to announce the first-ever CAMP WARS!!, a weekend extravaganza that'll leave only one camp standing. We've got classics like Tug-of-war, flip cup, and a massive CAMP FLOAT BUILD 🤯. And, of course, some fun activities for the mini-campers too. Get your camp vibes ready and start planning your victory strategy for CAMP WARS!!

Who’s going to be there?!! Go submit!

I am somewhat disappointed that submissions have been open for a month and only 2 entries for Miss RTR and 2 entries for Mr RTR. I intend to keep submissions open until Sunday at midnight, with the hope of receiving at least 2-3 entries for each title. I encourage everyone who has been discussing this to submit their entries.
