If you were wondering, why Latinos are trending toward voting for a Republican/Trump, here is QUORA’s reasoning:
Univision has new owners, and they are more conservative; thus, they see great possibilities in taking their channel in a more right-wing direction. The Spanish-language media market is quite large, and the new owners believe there is a niche that needs to be occupied: getting Mr Trump’s message out, and promoting Republican talking points. If it works, it could get Univision big ratings. On the other hand, it could also cause some of their most credible journalists to quit and alienate their current sponsors. That is a decision the new owners will need to make. At this point, they seem prepared to cater to Spanish-speaking conservatives, while ignoring all of Mr Trump’s anti-immigrant rhetoric. Of course, it remains to be seen whether viewers who were accustomed to the previous version of the channel (which had some very reputable reporters) will prefer a channel that downplays facts and focuses mostly on right-wing commentary.
