Heads up OKC nonprofit community!

The spring 2027 cohort of the Schnake Turnbo Frank Nonprofit Leadership Institute (NLI) starts on Jan. 13 in Oklahoma City.

Session topics will range from communication and stewardship to fundraising planning and board development. In other words, the whole kit and caboodle.

Tulsa-area nonprofits now have more time to apply for Explorer Pipeline’s 2027–2029 Partner Agency Program.

One nonprofit will receive up to $35,000 over three years, along with opportunities to build a meaningful partnership with Explorer employees through volunteerism, advocacy and community engagement.

Eligible nonprofits must have 501(c)(3) status, have been established before 2020, and focus on health and human wellness, STEM and education, inclusion and diversity, or family and youth.

Congrats to our friends at OKC Innovation District - last week's second annual Bio Week was a smashing success!

Bio Week is statewide celebration of the innovation, research, and collaboration driving Oklahoma's growing bioscience industry. It's a collab between the Oklahoma City Innovation District (OKCID) and Life Science Oklahoma (LSOK), bringing together researchers, entrepreneurs, educators, students, and community leaders, and it was an exciting, fun, inspiring week.

OETA joined us at Innovation Hall for the first three events of the week, capturing nearly six minutes of in-depth coverage on Oklahoma’s growing life sciences community and some of the people, companies and ideas driving it forward.

Congratulations to Schnake Partner and CFO David Wagner, who was elected to a two-year term as the chair of the Advisory Board for the Signature Symphony at TCC. 🎶
