With the Illinois Dorset Online Sale coming up, we decided it was time to show off our second entry!

This little lady has been quite the eye catcher to anyone who has come to the farm. We bought her mom from Brad Schrock, bred her to our “Popcorn” son and were elated when she laid down and had triplet ewe lambs. This one was her mom’s favorite and it shows, but we think her best days are still in front if her! Mom and dad are both registered Dorsets, she just drew the short straw when it came to getting some color on her ears and feet, while her sisters are all white. However, we think her femininity, killer build, elegence on the move, and no lack of shape will be really fun to play in the Dorset Advantage or White-face cross ring.

We had a great time seeing everyone at Ohio, but now we are on to the Illinois Dorset Online Sale on April 3rd and 4th and we are switching gears a bit!

Piped Up X Nichols (Hidden Agenda daughter)

When Chad to let us breed this Nichols ewe to Piped Up, we were hoping to raise a stud buck that was different genetically than anything else on the farm, and boy did she deliver! This little guy is one that has been the topic of discussion with all that have come through the barn this spring. Huge topped, grooved down his back, square through his hip, massive footed, s**g for days, and RRFF to boot, this buck has all the pieces you look for in a stud buck while being a true pure bred dorset and his breed character shows it! We are only selling half interest in this buck because we know hard it is to put all of those pieces together in a white buck. Look in on this one, and don’t miss your opportunity to buy in on a promising young stud!
