Just did Oktoberfest this weekend out in the street 2 almost 12 hour days...Good show lots of people, great fun....Here's what I was reminded of....The wind blew on friday, earrings blown over (100's of them) had to be rehung, canopies had to lose their tops before they blew away and our little setup was a little mess...and yet God is in charge of the wind and I was reminded that He gets to do what he wants and my job is just to be grateful that I get to go through my life with a Savior. Saturday was sunny and just a small breeze, peaceful and beautiful and was a great day...I think the older I get the more grateful I am that I have my Lord with me all the time. He makes all things wonderful, we just have to sit back in awe and wonder and watch the wind blow! Happy Monday!

Sometimes this what's on your mind Shannon? leaves me really wanting to share what is on my mind! Counting my blessings, there is a song called that right now and it is constantly in my head..God is SO SO GOOD to me. No matter what seems to be going on in my world I can always find Him to love me, to make me see the wonder in all parts of this life I live, to be grateful when I wake up breathing and yet to always know that my best life may be the next life. Sharing life with the people around me that I love. Doing the work with my hands that I'm so blessed to be able to do and meeting the people along the way... Even when so much of what I see is horrible and extremely scary I know that there is one Savior that has my back, my present and my future...And that is where MY focus needs to be...A restful weekend ahead, some big decisions ahead, but I'll be counting my blessings..knowing I can't count that high...
