finds that projects structured around a central story strengthen and distinguish our graphical work, and many of our projects combine strategic development, copywriting, and copy editing with graphic design. Helena. Our experience in the Napa Valley began with an artist-in-residence project for Stags’ Leap Winery in 1997 and has gone on to include a wide range of print and web projects, often being called for consulting and graphic support services years after completing larger projects. Aside from our own website, our best marketing has always been word-of-mouth referrals from satisfied clients and vendors and we take pride in our projects being our strongest calling card.

I'm headed up to Seattle in October to celebrate a major design project I've been working on for three years, the anthology, Cascadian Zen: Bioregional Writings on Cascadia Here & Now, which we designed and produced for the Cascadia Poetics Lab and their new imprint, Watershed Press

Celebrating the New Year with a look back at some of my favorite mapping projects from the past 20 years

It began long ago with creating faerie maps of the land around my house growing up and progressed to mapping places I have lived or visited. When I lived on the Greek Island of Chios between 1983 and 1984, I drew a map of the island on a piece of butcher paper.

3D Mask Pattern and Directions:
https://coloredhorse.com/pages/3D-Mask-Pattern-and-Directions.pdf

A few months ago, Adrienne was given a mask made by a friend who is also a nurse--it was comfortable, sealed well, and stayed put, with plenty of room around the nose and mouth. She's since sewn almost a hundred of these to give away to the community, and we wanted to share the pattern for those still looking for a comfortable mask. We redrew the pattern and wrote out directions to make it available without a paywall, email harvesting, or having to watch a long video; original pattern and directions, which include a filter pocket by ithinksew, https://youtu.be/jte1YtWBD0Q.
