For the first few years of running Creative Gravity, I performed.
I softened my language, stayed "professional," and removed the parts of me that felt too real, too Black, too direct. I thought that was what being a business owner looked like.
What it actually got me was clients who micromanaged every caption, questioned my prices, and treated me like a vendor instead of a strategist.
Because that's who I was attracting. People who needed me small.
The second I started showing up as my actual self, my whole client roster shifted.
