Did you know that Lewiston, Idaho is the furthest inland ocean port in the US? Here is a nice story about the importance of our river system featuring our retiring GM of Lewis-Clark Terminal association, Scott Zuger, It is pretty impressive how efficiently and quickly we can get our crops to market!

The Columbia Snake River System is the top U.S wheat export gateway supported by eight locks and dams that make navigation safe and efficient.

We love our "dammed" river.

We love our "dammed" river.

In late June the lower Snake River dams helped the Northwest power through the unprecedented heat. These dynamic facilities provided energy, reserve capacity and helped avoid rolling blackouts. https://go.usa.gov/xFTu7

Dear Members,

As most of you may already be aware, Brian was killed in a combine accident this past Monday. He was a great friend of the Murai family (as well as others) and an all-around wonderful guy.

If you would like to make a donation to the Smith family, please use the gofundme link provided. Details are also provided for the graveside service.

Please help support the family of Brian Smith from Colton whom our Lord called to His arms on… Deborah Niehenke needs your support for Brian Smith Family Fund

Dear Valued Members,

We continue to monitor the impact of COVID-19 on our communities and want to provide you with an update on our commitment to serve you throughout this challenging time. This weekend, the CDC updated their recommendations to include the use of masks and face coverings to help prevent the spread of infection. Based on these new recommendations, we are taking additional steps in accordance with our pandemic response plan to better ensure your safety and the safety of our team members. As an essential business we can continue operations and offer you all services during the Washington State stay-at-home order so long as we adhere to the Washington State Department of Health’s and CDC’s recommendations.

Office Lobby Available by Appointment Only
Effective April 7, 2020, our office lobby will be temporarily closed and will be available by appointment for members with additional needs. We’ve set up temporary drive-up windows along the west side of the office for use in the meantime. We encourage clients to use drive-up options if they can do so.

Our office lobby will be available by appointment to serve:
• Members with physical disabilities that make it difficult to utilize drive-up windows
• Members who rely on caretakers to transport them and wish to conduct their business in privacy
• Please call the office at 509.229.3828 to set up appointment times.
Seed House Procedures
• Please stay in or around your truck and crack your window slightly for paperwork and instructions. We will come to you.
• If you must get out of your truck, please honor our six-foot social distancing guidelines and other precautionary measures as posted.
• Signing of seed tickets is temporarily suspended in order to limit the risk of contagion vectors. We will bring the paperwork to your window for visual and verbal confirmation and provide you a copy through the window or we can email you a copy if you prefer.
Please Honor Our Social Distancing Guidelines During Your Visit
To ensure your safety and the safety of our team members, we appreciate you honoring our six-foot social distancing guidelines and the other precautionary measures posted at our facilities.

Masks and Face Coverings
