Saturday night I had the honor of being a guest of Bud Gaugh drummer along with my homies from back in our Seattle days El Sid and Andrew Massey who have transplated here in sunny Fla. What an evening it was at the Brightside Musicfest in Orlando. For you that have lived under a rock the last 20 or so years I will say follow along. I was privileged to not only meet and hang out with Jakob Nowell the son of the Late Great Bradley Nowell (RIP) witnessing the revival of Sublime as he steps into his dads shoes. He was nothing less than stellar in stage presence and covering all the hits written by Brad. The apple didn't fall far from the tree. From the very first song till the last there was no doubt that Jakob is on a mission, and he has been blessed with the talent to carry the torch. Along with original members Gaugh on drums and Wilson on bass. This was Sublime and I am sure Brad is watching over and Proud of you Nowell
