Some weekends are quieter than others.
No plans to rush to.
No one waiting for a reply.
Just a slow morning, something warm to drink, and the freedom to decide what the day becomes.
Maybe you take the long way home.
Buy flowers without needing a reason.
Cook something simple, leave your phone in another room, or wear a favorite piece of jewelry even though no one else will see it.
I used to think a good weekend had to be filled with people, places, and stories worth telling.
Now I’m not so sure.
There is something quietly comforting about spending a day without performing for anyone. You begin to notice what you actually enjoy, how tired you really are, and what has been waiting for your attention beneath all the noise.
A weekend alone is not always lonely.
Sometimes, it is where you finally hear yourself again.
