In public relations, connections are everything.

Our founder met this writer over two years ago. They had coffee and breakfast, and chatted about a completely different opportunity. ☕️🍳 Maddie learned that she met her husband in Portugal, and always admired their global meet-cute.

Fast forward to today. Remembering the international connection that the writer has with her husband, we reached back out to pitch our client, Mixela. With a chef from Venezuela and co-owner from Mexico (and with both of them spending time in Monaco and France), we knew that there would be a special relationship with the restaurant.

The article that was published was of course lovely, but what touched our hearts the most was the email after their visit "Everything was perfect, and it’s officially our new favorite spot." ❤️ Those words mean the most!

We're thrilled to be able to represent amazing hospitality clients, and love to share their magic with the world. ✨

What are your MUST-HAVE tools for content creation?

I recently came across a post that said something like "I wish I could be back on 2016 social media." And wow, me too.

Instagram was limited to 11 filters. Facebook photo albums were chock-full of unedited digital camera specs (shout-out to my college camera that I just rediscovered). 📸 You could tell that there were humans behind each post and comment from a brand or creator.

It seems like we've lost the "social" part of "social media".

I recently joined a workshop hosted by the lovely Nicole Hart. She reminded me that the best brands & creators are speaking WITH their audience rather than speaking AT them. Those conversations are where the deep connections are formed, which leads to trust & loyalty. That's why the brands that are in-the-know of the current online happenings are able to win kudos points with Millennials & Gen Z, and brands that partner with those creators benefit from their influencer strategy.

I'm on a mission to flip the current social media script from AI slop to human-centered strategy & ex*****on.
