As a member of the Pride community, I have a lot to be proud of.

I’m proud of the strength of our community and our ability to persevere through challenges, both past and present. I’m proud of my husband and the courage it takes to show up each day as his authentic self. I’m proud of my family, my dogs, and the life we’ve built together. And I’m proud of my work.

With Pride Month here, I’d like to share my annual reminder:

If you share one of my “Love Is Love” breed designs, please share it with proper credit.

These designs are created by me—not only as a professional designer, but also as a member of the LGBTQ+ community. While I love seeing them shared and celebrated, that doesn’t make them free to alter, reproduce, remove my signature from, or redesign as your own.

Several of these breed-specific designs have circulated widely over the years, and seeing members of those breed communities embrace them has been incredibly meaningful. If you enjoy the artwork and want to share it in support of Pride, I truly appreciate it—just remember to credit the artist who created it.

Absolutely thrilled reviewing the invitational list for this year’s contest at Intergroom.

Why you ask?

Because five of the invited competitors are my design clients — and beyond being extraordinarily talented, world-renowned groomers, they’re also people I’m proud to call friends.

There’s something incredibly rewarding about talented professionals recognizing and supporting other creatives in the industry — rather than chasing quick, cheap trends.

As photography season is kicking into high gear, design slows down ever so slightly. I wish I had more to show, but the last few weeks also included two 🤫 top secret 🤫 projects I am not at liberty to share yet. And the one project had EIGHTEEN variations of the design! I have been a VERY busy 🐝 the last few weeks to get as many designs done as I could before my much needed spring vacation! You may even recognize some of these designs as a few of them are updates from past designs (thank you to clients for your continued loyalty!)

OH, I had so much fun with this round of designs! It was a fantastic mix—from simple, striking concepts (perfect for limited-color screen printing) to fully detailed pieces, with a little fun in between.

Thank you all for the amazing response to my recent special. I’m truly grateful for the support, and it means a lot to be able to give back to our community with discounts—especially when the world feels expensive enough already.
