A DECADE OF GOOD DAY

What. A. Gift. Business ownership is one of the most rewarding parts of my life. One of my favorite communities to be a part of. A role I didn’t imagine for myself, but with each passing year, one that becomes more entwined with the way I define myself and what I feel most grateful for.

Today, at this milestone I can’t believe I get to celebrate, I’m mostly just thinking about the hundreds of people I’ve gotten to work with over the years. Their stories. The camaraderie. What I’ve learned from them. The friendships and experiences Good Day has brought into my life.

I started a post about what I’ve learned and what I would tell the version of me just starting out. But for today, I’m just basking in this. Feeling grateful for all the stories I’ve gotten to be a part of.

Feminine. Organic. Soft. Open. Breathable.

This brand + website had a clear vision from the get-go. To be soft and feminine, but not frilly. To be intricate and delicate in the details, but open and airy in the content.

At each phase, the question became, “how do we give this more breathing room?”

The result is a welcoming, encouraging site for a therapy practice, rooted in very sense, in being a soft, collaborative entry point.

Getting to make a website for Adri || Email Strategist & Copywriter would have been a joy all on its own. But then we get to go and add a zookeeper theme 🦓🐾🐆

Because yes, Adri was a zookeeper in a former career (and yes, she is as cool as it gets).

When I tell you I had more fun sourcing this imagery and brining this to life!

This was a dram collab. I met Adri through a retreat in Mexico where we shared, laughter, guac, and support for each others businesses and dreams. And now full circle, getting to bring this website to life!

They say Paris of the city of lights but it will live rent free in my head as the city of signage.

At every turn there was something to love that ranged from perfectly trendy to pleasingly classic to surprisingly whimsical.

The inspo from this trip will long live on ✨✨

If you’ve ever pre-apologized for your website, this is for you! 🫡

I’ve heard it, I’ve seen it, low-key I’ve done it. So I know the feeling, and I know it’s not a good one.

You meet a perfect-fit potential client, you make a plan to follow up, but then what *should* be your closer turns into a liability. That “okay but don’t judge my website…”

Good news: this is a completely fixable problem!

Your website should be something you send with zero hesitation - not something you have to walk someone through or apologize for in advance.

If you’ve been sitting on that feeling for a while - it might be time. ✨
