🇬🇧 England, I missed you!

After several adventure-filled years abroad in both the US and Germany, I’m so excited to announce that I am officially back in the UK for good. Not just “for now,” but forever.

I’m now booking Spring and Autumn 2026 for schools, nurseries, and preschools in Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and beyond. And to my wonderful DODEA community - I would absolutely love to serve schools near RAF Lakenheath just like I did in Ramstein.

I feel incredibly lucky and grateful to be back in the place that started it all nearly a decade ago. My diary is open and I can’t wait to work with you! 📷🧑🏽‍🎓👩🏻‍🎓

Happy New Year! 🎉 With the start of 2025 comes a major milestone: The military has moved us from Ramstein, Germany to Mascoutah, Illinois. And so Tove Hansen Photography graduates and steps into the next chapter.

The good news? My camera works just as well here! Whether it’s cap-and-gown photos or school portraits, I’m here to capture the moments you’ll want to remember—awesome glasses and all.

Over the past 8 years of running this business, I've juggled 3 international moves, the birth of our third child, countless deployments, TDYs, and, of course, homeschooling through a pandemic (because life wasn’t busy enough, right?). Some years, the most I could take on were small projects—or volunteering for school events—while my husband’s career took priority.

I’ve spent so much time watching others head off to conferences and workshops, wishing I could do the same, but the demands of military life made it hard to pursue those opportunities.

But today, I’m feeling incredibly grateful. I applied for a scholarship to attend S**C, and I just found out I was selected as a recipient! 🎉 I’m so excited for this chance to learn from leaders in the school photography world and continue growing as both a business owner and photographer.

A massive thank you to S**C - School & Sports Photographers Association of California. See you in Vegas!
