It is always so fun to see designs come to life! Check out these 'flower care cards' that were custom designed for one of my first clients who have been with me all these years. They turned out pretty sharp especially the green gingham paired with the jute twine!

Driving across the Hoosier heartland, you’ll come across a small town nestled along the Tippecanoe River named Winamac, Indiana.

Developing the visual brand identity for Main Street Winamac will go down as a favorite moment here at Coppertop Creative Co. This brand was so incredibly fun to work on for many reasons.

Main Street Winamac wanted a unique logo and brand identity to help promote their organization which honors the past by building a vibrant downtown through programs and projects.

We combined the color way inspired by the landscape of the river and woodlands that border the downtown with an abstract icon which resembles an iconic building known as ’The Opera House.’

When I think of rural America, not only do I think of the countryside but I also think of the small towns and cities between that house our schools, police and fire stations, libraries, parks, post offices, grocery stores, fueling stations, restaurants, shops and the many neighborhoods with residents who enjoy a quiet, slower pace lifestyle.

Revitalizing our historical main streets are vital to keeping our small towns and cities alive.

The ultimate project is when we can combine our talents with our passion: helping rural America remain relevant

It was such a pleasure to work with The Winning Edge on their website this past year!

The Winning Edge Team provides high quality, cost effective options to outfit your team from the locker room to the office. They are your one stop shop from silk screen and embroidery to custom team jerseys, awards and more!

When first sitting down with them, we all went into depth on how exactly the website was going to serve their business. A website should be so much more than a parking spot for your logo with a bunch of fluffy copy.

A website is another tool and a solution your business can use to solve your unique problems. Your investment should align with your values, goals, pain points and your brand’s story. It should highlight your most profitable products and services. It should celebrate your history and how far you’ve come.

The Winning Edge provides a variety of services to our community and schools. Everyone knows you can head on up to their brick and mortar for a new baseball mitt or put in an order for little league t-shirts. However, they have also grown and have expanded what they can offer and to whom. They really wanted to highlight their three target customer areas and the solutions that can be offered: Schools & Athletics, Business & Corporations, and Fundraising.

Meanwhile, we also needed homes for miscellaneous but important items such a navigating folks to the EdgeXstore, high school letter jacket information, custom engraving, vendor catalogs and examples of past work, etc.

While we have provided the Winning Edge with a more corporate, professional and relevant look, we were still able to highlight the positive, value-added services and qualities that are unique to doing business in a small community.

Here in the rural midwest, everyone is talking about the sun this week because…it finally came out! We were without it for so long most of January that we’ve realize how much we take it for granted.

We have some of the most INCREDIBLE sunrises and sunsets. There’s nothing like watching the sun rise and paint itself over an Indiana field with a farm shadowed in the background. Or overlooking Lake Michigan as the sun bounces across the water. And have you ever watched the sun set across the incredible open prairie skies of Kansas and North Dakota? It’s one of the best parts about living in rural America. Our people live to watch the sun rise and the sun set. It is our heartbeat. Our livelihood. Without it, we are nothing.

☀️ The icon for Coppertop Creative Co. incorporates a sun for just this very reason. We are here to help rural America shine just like the sun. ☀️

✨ NEW ✨Visual Brand Identity package for Gus and Tiffany Lukens at Lukens Livestock Consulting!

We had so much fun working with these newlyweds on branding for Gus’s new venture! From project placement to nutrition plans and working livestock alongside clients, Gus has a passion for helping showstock families prioritize what matters the most in the show pig industry. This was felt throughout the consulting and design process!

Not only did we work on the brand’s visual identity, but the foundation as well. Sometimes, the foundation can be made up of those parts of a brand that we don’t always see but it provides a lot of direction on where the brand needs to go visually. We defined their target demographic, values, pain points, business goals and many other items to develop a tagline and service areas that fit neatly into the overall brand’s messaging.

Everything from the colors and fonts to the artwork all went into a visual strategy that will allow Gus and Tiffany to feel ‘at home’ with their brand and we hope it attracts the kind of clients whom with they enjoy working.

We hope that Gus and Tiffany have so much fun working with and promoting their new brand! 🐽
