Few people embody the Lawrence County spirit quite like Michonda Weber.

For nearly 30 years, Michonda has built Weber Catering, right here in Lawrence County, starting in New Wilmington, growing a confections facility in Hermitage, and most recently opening The Venue at Weber Catering on Butler Road in Shenango Township, fulfilling a lifelong dream.

"It's always been my dream to have my own venue where I'm able to host events. It's really been wonderful. In fact, it's perfect."

Michonda's work is rooted in her community. She sources meats from Whiting Farms in New Wilmington, mixes her own spice blends from Con-Yeager, and partners with It's Sweet through Whole Life Services, where her "Whole Life people" bake every cookie from scratch. Because, as she says, "everyone has something to offer."

Beyond the kitchen, Michonda pours that same heart into countless community projects across Lawrence County giving her time, her skills, and her contagious positivity wherever she's needed. Her motto says it all: "I want to make a difference." And she does.

Forward Lawrence was proud to honor Michonda at this year's Impact Awards, presented by Huntington National Bank.

Yesterday, we had the privilege of providing full video production for the Lawrence County Courthouse Swearing-In Ceremony. Our team managed live broadcast operations, delivering audio and video feeds from two different courtrooms to three separate overflow locations throughout the courthouse, plus provided the video feed for their YouTube broadcast.

This is what 25+ years of broadcast experience looks like in action. While we're known for our turnkey marketing, social media management and content creation, we also bring professional-level live event production to Lawrence County and Western Pennsylvania.

A huge shout-out to our partners at Forty Two, Inc. out of Boardman, Ohio, who provided all equipment and technical staff for this event. They're our go-to for live productions, and we trust them to deliver flawless ex*****on every time. Whether it's a ceremonial event, conference, community celebration, or corporate gathering - if it needs to be captured, broadcast, or streamed professionally, we've got the team and the partnerships to make it happen.
