New year’s resolutions...a tradition of over 4,000 years designed to reflectively learn and motivate personal improvement for the coming year.
The last half of 2020 was about curing crippling negativity tied to forced change, the pandemic, and deep division within our country.
This year is simply about being better, not driven by criticism or societal and religious opinions, but by my own desire to let go of chaos and find grounded purpose - as partner, parent, child, friend, as a human being. Not unattainable perfection, but a person rooted in gratitude who will serve others by assuming good intent, cultivating trust, listening more closely. I will lead with love even when I don’t like.
I will be better.
