MODEL CALL: Military/Veteran Families Needed for Stock Photography Project

MILSTOCK.| is partnering with CareSource Military & Veterans—a new TRICARE program—to create authentic visual content that reflects the diversity and strength of today’s military families. We are currently casting service members and their families between the ages of 35–55 for a stock photography shoot. This project will take place in Summerville, South Carolina, and surrounding areas, including down to MCAS Beaufort and over to Columbia, SC.

Images from this session will be used in CareSource’s commercial marketing efforts. All final marketing assets will be owned by CareSource and used to support outreach for the CareSource Military & Veterans program.

Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking a broad representation of today’s military community and welcome interest from families of all racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds.

Participants may include:
Active Duty, Retired, Medically Retired, or Honorably Discharged members of the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, or Space Force
Military families, including spouses, partners, and children
Households with service or working dogs (non-aggressive breeds only)

Project Details
- Photos will be captured in and around participants’ homes. Clean, naturally lit spaces are preferred.
- Sessions will be scheduled during weekends or weekday evenings over the next 3–4 weeks.
- Each photo session will last approximately 30–45 minutes.

Each participating family will receive:
A $300 Visa Gift Card as a thank-you for their time

Appearance Guidelines
To maintain authenticity and consistency with Department of Defense guidelines, all participants must:
- Present a professional appearance consistent with DoD grooming and uniform standards.
- Be clean-shaven or have neatly groomed facial hair in accordance with regulations
- Wear sterile uniforms with no name tapes, patches, or rank insignia (OCPs)
- Exceptions may be made for individuals with documented medical or religious accommodations.
- A signed model release will be required for participation.

CASTING CALL::
Armed Forces Insurance is looking for 3 local DOD military families (Charleston and Summerville), to participate in an upcoming photoshoot. One family from the Army (or National Guard), one family from the Navy, and one family from the Air Force or Marines.

Since 1887, Armed Forces Insurance (AFI) has existed with a single, unwavering purpose: To protect the people who protect our nation. So for more than 135 years, they’ve provided military homeowner insurance, military renter insurance, military auto insurance and much more.

The goal is to capture imagery that will represent the different coverage options AFI has to offer; ie boaters insurance, motorcycle insurance, jewelry insurance etc.

SHOOT DETAILS::
The photoshoots will take place in the next few weeks, with date, time and location to be determined. Each photo session will last 30 mins - 1 hour. You will be asked to sign a model release and will receive a Mini Family Photo Session, valued at $300, as a 'thank you', immediately after the shoot.

AFI is looking for service members to wear their uniforms in the shoot with a few shots in civilian clothes. Spouses and children should wear seasonal clothing.

There will be Armed Forces Insurance swag that will be incorporated into each shoot. Any gear used in your shoot, is yours to keep.

HOW TO APPLY::
Send a snap shot of your family, to [email protected]. Include your branch of service and if your family owns a motorcycle, boat, golf cart etc. Also, please provide shirt sizes for each family member. Once I receive your information, I will be in touch.

Southern, Sweet & Sassy coffee is looking for local military spouses (Charleston and Summerville), of all branches, to participate in an upcoming photoshoot.

CURRENTLY CASTING FOR::
Southern, Sweet & Sassy is a local veteran owned coffee company looking for military spouses to pose with the companies coffee bags for their website and social media.

SHOOT DETAILS::
The photoshoot will take place in the next few weeks, with date, time and location to be determined. Each photo session will last 10-15 minutes. You will be asked to sign a model release and will receive a Bag of Coffee from Southern, Sweet & Sassy as a gift to say 'thank you'.

HOW TO APPLY::
Please send a quick email to [email protected] and include the branch of service your spouse is associated with.

Once we receive your information, we will be in touch with details about the shoot.
