✨ Meet Mr. Peacock ✨
The proud new mascot of Peahen Photography. 📸🦚

As most of you know, my God-given last name is actually… Peacock. 💙
Mr. Peacock represents the heart behind every session: creativity, confidence, connection, beauty in every detail, and most importantly… my grandpa, the one who passed down his photography skills to me.

He’ll be making appearances in future posts, events, signs, and maybe even a few surprises along the way. 👀

So officially…
Meet the newest member of the Peahen Photography family. ✨

In honor of Earth Day I would like to share a photo I’ve taken.

I went out hoping for a peaceful nature walk and some time away from the office. Instead, I found an ecosystem that looked completely devastated.

The area had recently been sprayed with chemicals, everything felt off and frantic. The water smelled wrong, plants were dying, and birds were struggling to find food. It honestly felt like the whole place was falling apart.

This Little Blue Heron kept trying to hunt but was just picking up dead, chemical-covered weeds instead of food. I didn’t see much life at all, just damage.

When I was a kid in Okeechobee, we used to pull weeds by hand when they got out of control. There are machines for this. We don’t need to be putting extra chemicals into our waterways.

Stop spraying our waterways.
