Most agencies send you a dashboard. We send you leads that turn into revenue.
Max at CalMicro said it better than we could: “Tremendous growth in leads from the campaign he built.”

Six months. SEO, Google Ads, website redesign, AEO, IP targeting. No fluff. No vanity metrics. Just pipeline.

That’s the difference between a vendor and a partner.
We’re taking on two new retainer clients this quarter. Link in bio

Many of you have asked what these symbols are that we add to all our posts. Well as you might have guessed it is connected to Odin himself.

The Norse god Odin is a relentless seeker after knowledge and wisdom, and is willing to sacrifice almost anything for this pursuit. The most outstanding feature of his appearance, his one eye, attests to this; he sacrificed his other eye for the runes. In this tale of how he discovered the runes is a great example of his unquenchable thirst for understanding the mysteries of life, not to mention his unstoppable will.

We believe this unstoppable will for more wisdom and knowledge ties perfectly with modern marketing as well.

We use these symbols on our posts to remind ourselves to always seek wisdom and knowledge even if it means making sacrifices. Plus it just looks cool! 😅

We get this question ALOT! And it's understandable, there are so many places to advertise and you want to spend your money where it will be the most effective.

Here are the differences:

Google is a search directory, so if people are searching for your service then it's a great place to be! But it comes with a cost google ads are generally more expensive per click over social media ads. (for my more experienced people: don't get mad, I know there is display ads and YouTube where it can be cheaper, but we're talking PPC right now) There are ways to reduce your cost like niching down to one service or keyword and making sure you have a lot of negative keywords. [if you're not sure what negative keywords are here's a great article on that]

https://odinmarketinghouse.com/blog/2018/2/7/how-to-use-negative-keywords

On to social media ads, we've already established that it usually is cheaper for a click/lead but there's another advantage to these platforms. Social media ads are also great for bringing awareness to your brand/services. If there aren't a lot of people searching for your service then this is going to be a great place to start! Additionally, it can learn who your audience is far far faster than Google PPC.

Looking to lean down your business overhead? Reduce cost per lead? Increase your sales team’s effectiveness? Well, the 80/20 rule might be the ticket.

So what is the 80/20 rule, It's known as the Pareto Principle, is attributed to the Italian economist, Vilfredo Pareto. In one of his papers, Pareto noted that about 80% of the land in Italy belonged to approximately 20% of the country’s total population.

In essence, the Pareto Principle infers that there’s an 80-to-20 relationship between effects and their causes. The Pareto Principle also applies to many other things. In sports, for example, you’ll find that at least 20% of athletes win 80% of the time, or that roughly 20% of training and exercise impact 80% of an athlete’s performance. Similarly, when it comes to healthcare, about 20% of patients depend on as much as 80% of the nation’s healthcare resources.

Applying it to the business world, the 80/20 rule suggests that 80% of your company sales come from 20% of your customers. Alternatively, you could say that 20% of what you do represents 80% of that particular activity’s outcome.

Applying Pareto’s principle to marketing:
• 80% of profits come from 20% of customers
• 80% of product sales from 20% of products
• 80% of sales from 20% of advertising
• 80% of customer complaints from 20% of customers
• 80% of sales from 20% of the sales team

So how can you make this work for your business? Here are some examples:

1. You probably have hundreds or thousands of contacts on your client and prospect lists from your website, and email and social media marketing efforts. Keep close tabs on which customers made a recent purchase, are frequent buyers, or which ones were generous in their purchases.

Once you’ve identified them, tag them as a top priority for your sales and marketing efforts and use their customer data to help you find and attract new audiences.

2. Take note of the top 20% of sales people in your organization. These are the members of your team who are closing more sales or are delighting your customers most effectively.

3. Managing your costs works on many levels: it helps you save by avoiding counterproductive measures and enables you to make good budget decisions. For example, you might decide to let go unproductive salespeople go while augmenting your remaining team’s daily meal allowance, thereby increasing your sales team’s productivity and efficiency at work.

It’s an underrated technique in the sales and marketing landscape, but one that has great potential in propelling your business forward.

I know it’s hard during these times, and we all want to sell, but social media should be more than this. Also when you sell, sell, sell it does two opposite things.

1. It gives the impression that you’re desperate and most people can smell desperation a mile away.

2. It’s hard for people to engage with you’re business and works against social media algorithms. Social media gives gif den bonuses to businesses that have high user engagement.

If you’re struggling to find the balance here’s a helpful tip. Follow the 3/1 rule for every 1 post on selling your services put 3 posts on giving information, engagement or talking about a nonprofit organization you support.

How do you engage with your users? Comment below 😉

Are you not ranking #1 on google? Or your website loads to slowly?

Your photos could be the issue.

Why? Well right now google considers page speed and mobile load time critical to a high ranking site.

If you haven’t compressed/reduced your file size for each photo on your website this very possibly slow it down dramatically!!!

So what can you do about it? Well you can google tinypng and drag and drop your images then reload them. Or, you can hire me to do that for you.
