So much on my mind and not enough time but I caught the drawing bug again through a pretty cool artist I met recently. Def has brought me back to my roots where I stated this journey in becoming an artist. There's something about a blank canvas when you put the pencil to the surface, it starts to come alive.
Since I've been putting classic cars on t-shirts for my clients I couldn't get these cartoony paintings out of my head. Within a day I grabbed a sheet of loose leaf, pencil, sharpie and asked my daughter if I could use her new watercolor pens. Was a perfect fit and timing of her getting them for her bornday. We all did a few of the stencils that came with the kit and was instantly hooked. (If you're an artist, you have to check them out. Def loving the control I have over the tip vs a paint brush from when I had used this medium.) So anywho's, here's my progress of what I have done. Looking forward to adding this to my repertoire in hopes it brings in some great connections in the near future....



What's your favorite muscle or classic car?
It's hard to pick and would be great to have a list I can look at that may spark my interest in drawing for my portfolio.
