Coach JULIAN CHAN is canvassing for students and he is available for lessons:
Julian has over 15 years of experience as a competitive figure skater, and is currently a USFS and ISI coach and judge. Some of Julian’s accomplishments include him mastering five triple jumps, and competing in numerous national qualifying series. Julian currently competes in Junior Men, and specializes in teaching jumps. He also has plenty of experience being a national qualifying series competitor, being a 5 time USFS Sectionalist. He is a 2020 sectional medalist and a double gold medalist in moves in the field and freestyle. He has participated in numerous training camps out of state, learning from some of the best skaters in the world such as Nathan Chen, Ilia Malinin, and other top tier coaches.Julian has extensive experience in coaching and was a coaching assistant for many years, in his time as an assistant he worked with beginner to advanced skaters, and even has experience with working special needs classes in the past. Julian’s goal is to help every skater accomplish their own personal goals, and share a love for this beautiful sport.
