Today I had the pleasure of attending the 30th Annual Thomasville Wildlife Festival. It was awesome and I got to see some of the artists who trust us with their artwork. One of our oldest art customers Thomas Brooks, was the Featured Artist of the show. Just standing by his originals is something to behold.

Let's honor those who've risked it all.
The concept is simple and thoughtful. Valor Studios starts with an historic military event, finds surviving brave souls who have participated in that event and have them add their signatures to paper sheets with pre-printed borders.
Next comes the perfect painting to capture this event. It's scanned, sized and color corrected. It is then placed in a layout to match the pre-signed borders, color proofed with title, verbiage and copyright information. Keep in mind that these sheets may have been signed years in advance before we even get to this point.
Now it's time to to bring these two together on our Heidelberg press.
We need to get everything aligned and color matched before we release these signed borders into the paper feed. The stress and pressure involved at this point can be a little overwhelming because every sheet containing these signatures is a treasure and are not to be ruined or wasted. Everyone breathes a huge sigh of relief once these completed sheets start coming out the other end of the press. That's a great feeling.
We are always appreciative to participate in these press runs. Getting the privilege and opportunity to honor and memorialize these veterans for their hard work and sacrifice is gratifying yet humbling. We thank the veterans for what they have done and continue to do.
