I think it’s finally time to officially say goodbye to Homespun Threads. ❤️
For almost two years, this little business gave our family exactly what we needed in that season. It helped make it possible for us to welcome our fourth baby, gave me the chance to stay home for a while, and introduced me to so many wonderful people in our community along the way.
Right before Blaize deployed, I was given the opportunity to return to my Special Investigator position, and it was one of those opportunities I knew I couldn’t pass up.
I’ll admit, the back-and-forth between working, staying home, running a business, and returning to my career has sometimes made me feel a little flaky. But the more I look at it, the more I realize none of it was random. Our family has simply moved through different seasons, and each one has called for something different from me.
I am so thankful for everyone who supported this business, placed an order, shared a post, or simply cheered me on. Homespun Threads served our family in such a beautiful way, and I will always be grateful for that chapter.
Now I’m also really grateful to be stepping into a season where I get to use a different part of myself again—to challenge my brain, do work I genuinely enjoy, and still be home for the four little people who will always be my most important job.
We are still impatiently, waiting for daddy to return.
Thank you for being part of this with me. ❤️
