Most Vancouver businesses don't know what factors actually drive their revenue.
We can use things like ad spend, Google ranking, and reviews to build a model that predicts revenue for each location.

Once we have that prediction we can plot the difference between what the model predicted and what actually happened. If that difference shows a pattern it means we are missing a factor.

In this example there is a clustering pattern. Each cluster shares something in common. They are from the same market. Using this information we can go back to the model and see if adding market as a factor makes the model more accurate.
This is how analytics-driven marketing actually works in Clark County.

If your agency is sending paid traffic to your website it is probably hurting your Google rankings without anyone telling you.

Google measures how users interact with your site after they arrive. Cold traffic from ads bounces fast and engages almost nothing. That behavior signals to Google that your site is not relevant and your rankings drop as a result.

The fix is simple but almost nobody does it correctly. Paid traffic needs to go to dedicated landing pages that are blocked from Google indexing entirely. That way cold traffic behavior never touches your organic ranking signals.

There is also a better way to structure the ad itself. Most agencies put the problem and the solution in the same ad. If you put the problem in the ad and the solution on the landing page you create a pull through effect that increases landing page conversion rates.

This is one of the most common and most expensive mistakes local businesses in Vancouver WA are making right now.
