What are some of your favorite books?
For me, I have a lot of health issues and it's hard for me to read; things don't always keep my attention, or I am just so mentally drained that I fall asleep when I'm reading.
Recently, with the audio book world coming into play, I've found myself getting very attached to books about money.
My sister showed me a book recently and asked if I wanted to read it with her and have weekly discussions about it. A couple of years ago, I would have told her, I didn't have the time, or that I couldn't read that much and have anything prepared for our discussions. I'm so happy to announce that I easily was able to say yes to this opportunity to learn and for the growth and knowledge I was able to obtain from this experience. We are only through chapter 4 and let me tell you, this has sparked a new level of personal development within me that I did not even realize was necessary. This is the exact book that I needed in my life at this moment in time. Not only that, but my sister and I both have hectic lifestyles, so we do not get to speak as often as we would like. This has allowed us to take some time for one another lately and that means the world to me.
If you haven't read this book, I encourage you to try it out!

Look..You don't know me.. so why listen to me right?
Thing is.. I know you..I know how you're feeling because I've been through it. I'm somewhat of... an empath. I have a unique ability to understand someone on a deeper level than most.. really empathize with them and relate.
When you lose everything..and really take the time to focus on yourself and your well being, you do a LOT of soul searching.
I've read a lot of books lately.. people who truly know me, know that I fall asleep reading (I found out this chronic fatigue is due to something medical recently).. but even with my border line narcolepsy, I found a true passion recently when it comes to figuring out how to make money. A fire I didn't realize I had kept me extremely alert and hungry for more knowledge on what it is that I could do to create a dream income.

I'm not talking about easy money or quick schemes. I am a SUPER hard worker, always have been. I know what it takes to get somewhere in life and that is NEVER "Easy". Enjoyable...
Absolutely! But it will take hard work none the less.

Here are some things I've learned about my personality type:

"I feel stressed when I need to make an 'unpopular' decision"..
--Anyone truly resonate with that!? 🙋‍♀️
On some level, I feel like all of us just have learned that sticking with what we know will get us by is the smart and safe choice. Change is scary. You and I need to learn to get comfortable with the Uncomfortable!
"Often worry about saying or doing the wrong thing at the wrong time." --We can seek out encouraging environments and positive people, avoiding those who are relentlessly pessimistic or highly critical of our ideals. We CHOOSE who we want to work with.
I don't know about you, but I have worked with my fair share of the WRONG personality type and I am over it.
Stay tuned.. I have a LOT more to share with you :)

Full Disclosure, my home is a mess.. we have kids that live here.. but the fact that I get the luxury of spending time with this sweet face during the day, means everything. Sure... it's hard work. He's 4! (Moms..you know!) But before....
When I was working from 7am to 8pm, trying to make a living, trying to make a difference...I wasn't really doing that..
I was just mindlessly working and being sad all the time that I was missing out on our home life.
Not only that, but I found myself talking about work, even when I was home.. it was like my life revolved around that place. What kind of life is that!? (I'm sure my fiancé was sick about hearing about my job after a while).
I don't know about you, but I can't do that again.. I can't wake up everyday and stress out about how I could lose everything if I mess up. I can't live everyday living up to someone else's unrealistic expectations and their silly rules that do not make any sense.
Do not wait until you've completely hit Rock Bottom.. take it from me.. get out of that never ending circle while you can and find something that lets you experience your life again, something that you can be happy doing, make a decent living (maybe even better than you thought).. while also not missing out on these moments!

Trust me, I'd be rolling my eyes if I were you too..
A year ago, I would have definitely suggested that whoever posted things like this.. definitely was some want to be influencer.
A year ago, I was eating whatever I wanted, living off of caffeine and running myself and my body into the ground.
When I left my job... my high paying job.. it wasn't because I couldn't do it anymore physically... I couldn't do it mentally.
Mental health is so so important. I know you've all heard that before, but truly.. if I could go back to my 20 year old self and change anything, it would be to take care of myself a lot better.
Even if you are given a chance of a lifetime, your mental health is way more important. Do Not Take it for Granted.

No JOB.. is worth your Sanity. You can be HAPPY.. trust me!

I'd love to kick this off with an introduction: I'm Victoria, and like most of you, I've struggled with working for "The Man".. I have ADHD and I'm chronically late wherever I go, I have a different way of doing things and although sometimes you're able to find those bosses that you click with on a personal level, this isn't always a good match in the workplace.

I've struggled with my mental health with most things I set my mind to, because no matter how hard you work, no matter how much you "show up" other employees, you're always... expendable!!

I've spent a lot of time believing I wasn't good enough...
NOT ANYMORE!!
Working for yourself is not hard anymore, or at least it doesn't have to be.. I'd love to show you more about how you... yeah.. you..

That you, too, can find another way!
