What matters is starting.

Getting on video builds confidence, momentum, and connection. And that momentum matters way more than waiting for the “right” moment or the “perfect” space.

AI is amazing… and also a little clueless sometimes.

I asked Sora to make a 9-second video of me doing a backflip on a cruise ship wearing a showgirl costume. The result? A front flip, a head-plant, and a whole lot of awkwardness.

Here’s the thing — AI is a fantastic tool for business when used right. From video creation to content ideas, it can save time and spark creativity. But it’s not perfect, and it definitely needs a human touch to guide it.

If you’re not experimenting with AI in your business yet… why not?

Take a look at this badass boss lady*!

I had the opportunity to join owner of at the She Blooms Summit and listen to her speak. She shared her past and present fears in business and guided us through the steps she took to conquer those fears.

At 43 my goal is to surround myself with people who both inspire and lift me up. People who cheer me on when I succeed and guide me when I struggle. Michelle is one of these people!

AI is wild and I am here for it!

I can certainly see the pros and cons; however, this technology isn’t going away. I’m jumping onboard and learning as much as I can to stay ahead of the curve especially working in digital marketing.

Recently, I’ve adopted the saying “Don’t be like Blockbuster.” It’s a simple reminder not to get so stuck in the “why change what’s working?” mindset that you forget to visualize the future.

This video was created by  2.0, and it looks so real! I’m blinking at the right times, my hands are gesturing naturally, and even some of my hair is perfectly (and accurately) out of place. All of this came from a three-second video and a few text prompts.

I just went down a rabbit hole trying to find a full-body photo of myself and realized how important it is to have a variety of up-to-date photos. Selfies are awesome, but sometimes you need more than just your face in the frame.

Here’s why you should make sure you’re in more photos:

1. Stay Current: Keep your photos up-to-date so they reflect your current look.
2. Show Variety: Different angles and full-body shots give a complete picture of who you are.
3. Be Authentic: Show a little bit of your personality and style.

Don’t be afraid to be on social media. Let your true self shine!
