A while back, Larry Witzel shared a story about stepping in to lead worship at church… because no one else was available.

By his own admission, he's not a worship leader.

The music wasn't great. But something powerful still happened: people engaged, worshiped, and God moved.

It's a simple but important reminder for church leaders:
Growth doesn't only happen in areas where you feel confident.

Sometimes, it comes from stepping into roles you're not naturally wired for.

That's where resilience is built.
That's where empathy grows.
And often, that's where humility takes root.

If you're in ministry, there may be moments where you feel underqualified but are still called to step in.

What a way to wrap up Propel Conference last Wednesday!

We closed out an incredible few days of connection, learning, and momentum by announcing our iPad giveaway winner—and the excitement in the room did not disappoint.

Congratulations again to Deon Kerr!

Most first-time guests will visit your website before they ever visit your church.

And many will decide whether to come—or not—based entirely on that experience.
This comes down to one key factor: uncertainty.

When people are exploring something new, they look for clear, helpful information to feel more confident in their decision. If your website doesn't provide that clarity, it can unintentionally become a barrier.

A well-designed church website does more than share information; it builds trust and creates a sense of welcome before someone ever walks through your doors.

In this Ministry Insights episode, Larry Witzel breaks down what makes a church website effective for reaching new guests.

After everything we've seen, heard, and experienced…
Where do we go from here?

At the closing of , Andre Hastick led us through that very question, while Elder Charles Tapp charged us to step forward and put it into action.

Because this was never just about what happened over the last few days, it's about what happens next.

We've been challenged. Stretched. Inspired.

But now comes the real question:
👉 What will we do with it?

The real impact begins as we return:
✅ to our churches
✅ to our communities
✅ to the people we're called to reach

With clarity. With conviction. With purpose.

This wasn't just a closing moment; it was a commissioning.

Because the work doesn't end here.

It begins. Let's go!

It's day four and the final day of .

The sessions have been powerful, but there's something about worship that shifts everything.

In those moments, it's not about the stage or the schedule… just hearts aligned, voices lifted, and a reminder of God's presence among us.

Grateful for these moments.

You should've been in the room for this.

At the final evening session of , Daniel Hall introduced: "Compassion Project: The New Way of Evangelism."

In a rapidly changing world, reaching people takes more than methods—it takes heart.

This wasn't just another session… It felt like a shift in how we see people and approach the mission.

🔥 This one hit different.

What are we really chasing?

This evening, at , Cami Oetman challenged us to reflect on a powerful shift: From the pursuit of the world… to the pursuit of heaven.

It's easy to get caught up in what's visible: success, recognition, progress.
But what if we've been aiming at the wrong target?

This session is a call to realign:
✔️ From temporary to eternal
✔️ From distraction to purpose
✔️ From self to mission

Because what we pursue shapes who we become—and ultimately, the impact we make.

What if evangelism wasn't just an event... but a culture?

This morning at , Dr. Roger Walter unpacked what it really means to create a culture of evangelism.

Because lasting impact doesn't come from occasional efforts, it comes from a consistent, shared mindset.

A culture where:
✨ Everyone sees themselves as part of the mission
✨ Outreach feels natural, not forced
✨ Evangelism is lived out daily, not just scheduled

This session challenged leaders to move beyond programs
and start building something that actually lasts.

Day 3 at , and the final day of breakout sessions.

Marshall McKenzie: "Thriving Through Systematic Discipleship."

Practical. Intentional. Transformational.

And the day's not over yet… more sessions still ahead this afternoon.

Reflecting on how we ended yesterday at .

Billy Hungate brought a message that hit deep: "The Chains We Carry."

Not all barriers are visible.
Fear. Doubt. Past experiences. Unspoken struggles.

A reminder that we can't lead others fully if we're still bound ourselves.

What a way to close the day.

The mission isn't finished.

At , Dr. Alex Bryant is calling leaders back to what matters most: "Finishing the Mission."

In a world full of distractions and competing priorities, it's easy to lose focus on why we're here.
But the assignment hasn't changed.

People still need hope.

Lives still need transformation.

The mission still moves forward.

This session is a powerful reminder: We're not just called to start, we're called to finish.

And that requires clarity, urgency, and commitment.

This is bigger than strategy. It's about purpose.
