After along day of community events. My self and SPC Shiner, SPC Shire, PVT Davis when and enjoyed a delicious Veterans Day lunch in town and we even got to bring our newest Prior Service Applicant looking to join the Utah Army National Guard with us after is first appointment, thanks for coming out with us Benjamin Knotts I see great opportunity for you here in the Utah Guard and our community!

I would also like to get a shout out to the local Civil Air Patrol Squadron 117 you guys are fantastic and we love everything you do for your community! Unfortunately we were unable to get a picture with all the cadets before they left but we were able to get one with both 1st Lieutenants Fosters the commanders of the of the cadet & senior member programs!

I would like to give a special shout out to BSA troop 228 thanks for coming out. We love what you guys do in our community.

I would also like to call out our two out of the Troop Karson Drake and Samuel Barfuss these two young man have have made the decision and have started the process to Enlist into the Utah Army National guard so they may better themselves and this community!

Thank you Vernal for allowing us to have the opportunity to come out and help out at the community retirement ceremony today. This is one of the best traditions I have gotten to see up here in the Basin not only do we get to come together as a community but we also get to pay respect to all the flags that have graced our beloved community over this last year and lay them to rest properly. Well teaching our youth the importance of the flag and why we respect it.

Thank you Vernal for letting us come and assist with your Wreath laying Ceremony at the veterans memorial on Main Street. To be able to start veterans day off with a ceremony to honor the veterans that aren’t with us today, and remember our brothers and arms, knowing they are not forgotten. I can’t think of a better way to start my Veterans Day!
