It's such a blessing to have incredible clients, and Tom Rhodes of Sunshine Laundries is certainly at the top of the list! For the past 10 years he has designated a washer and dryer in all of his laundromats and donates 25% of the business on those machines to local charities. SUNSHINE JUST HIT THE $100,000 MILESTONE IN GIVING!!! It was great to have many of the nonprofits represented in our cover feature photo and article in today's Luminaries, which is inserted into our tri-county area daily newspaper. I took the photo and wrote the article, but Tom did the donating....AND HE BROUGHT ME FLOWERS TO CELEBRATE!!! How nice is that?!?!?!

I'll do just about anything for my clients....including keeping food waste for a week to photograph. LOL. I have had to collect a lot of things over the years for the county's Solid Waste Disposal District for me to take pictures to promote how to properly recycle, but usually it's things like cups, plastics, cans, paper products, etc. This week it's been my food waste, because people are still thinking food is recyclable (hint: it's GARBAGE). Finally had enough for my photo and now I can THROW IT OUT. P*e yew!

So fun to attend events in support of client Alzheimer & Parkinson Association of Indian River County. The executive director (Peggy Cunningham) does a great job representing the organization while sharing helpful information. As a former caregiver to someone with Alzheimer's (and to a lesser extent to someone with Parkinson's), I know the value first-hand that this organization brings to our community.

August 7 - 13, 2022 is National Health Center Week....so having fun with the selfie frame Nicolace Marketing created for Treasure Coast Community Health for their employees to snap photos of themselves and post! Had to get a practice photo in when I dropped it off to them! 😁 📸

Really cool to attend the August 5, 2022 Annual Tourism Luncheon....because it was held at Capt. Hiram's, and it was when I worked at Hiram's that I first joined the tourism committee in 1992....so this year marks my 30th anniversary with this group! Lots of changes over the years-- keep in mind, back then was before the digital age (yes, slides instead of digital photos).

Happy to help a 95-year-old resident of Indian River Estates plan a "launch party" celebrating the publication of his first fiction novel. He did a great job with the Q&As and the audience was engaged and appreciative. He demonstrated that you're never too old to cross something off of your bucket list!
