A lot of companies are afraid to say what they do not take on.
I get it. You do not want to sound arrogant or turn away opportunity. But vague positioning creates bad conversations, and bad conversations eat time during the busiest months of the year.
A short “best fit” section can help. Explain the services you specialize in, the project sizes that make sense, and the areas you serve best. You can also say what you are not set up for in a respectful way.
The right clients appreciate boundaries because boundaries make the business feel organized.
