As you might be aware, the use of AI and tools like ChatGPT has become prevalent across many businesses, including those centered around art and design. While these tools can be extremely valuable in terms of creativity and efficiency, there are inherent challenges that can and do result.
AI-generated artwork and images are made of very rudimentary components. Even the most vibrant, detailed AI art is not something that can be easily converted into a business logo or boat name, for example.
AI generated artwork at large scale tends to appear pixelated and sometimes has strange or undesirable elements that appear when the art is scaled up to full size.
Our design professionals here at TNT Graphics are committed to providing only the highest quality work. Pixelated or otherwise compromised artwork not only falls short of customer expectations, but is also not representative of our abilities.
That being said, when we are working with AI generated art, more time and expertise is required to achieve the quality that both our customers expect and our designers are capable of.
We hope that this offers some clarification as to why additional art charges and longer turnaround times often result with jobs that originate from AI tools.
