So I've never really shared how KC Art & Apparel started, but when you get down to the start, it was because I was tired of paying someone else to do something I could do myself. After years of paying way too much for embroidered patches I finally took the plunge and bought my own machine...
I had no idea what that started at the time, I've always been handy, but I had no idea how much I enjoyed being a maker..or how much being a make could cost. I was making money with embroidery, but I wanted to do more, so after that I bought my first large format printer for stickers, vinyl, banners, and other print media. At the same time I started getting into 3D Printing. New hardware meant new products and the ability to do new things and I was having a blast.
That's where xTool came into the picture. I wanted to get into the world of lasers; something I knew absolutely nothing about; so I after a lot of research, xTool was the clear choice and I got my first P2S CO2 Laser as well as the F1 Diode/IR laser. Suddenly I was able to make just about anything I could imagine (at that time) and the business was growing exponentially.
After my 2nd year in business I expanded and got the xTool Apparel Printer and became a Squad Member with xTool and went from being a Demo Host, to a Service Station, and now a Pro Hub. Thanks to working with xTool I've been able to expand further into also being able to do events and even got my latest machines, the WonderPress and xTool O1 Omni Dual UV. To say that xTool has been an integral part of my business from nearly the beginning would be an understatement. They've been amazing with their products and support, and over the past year even more amazing to work with and I can't wait to see what the future holds!
