Seven years ago on Valentineโs Day, I made a split-second decision that changed my life.
After being abducted, I threw myself from a moving vehicle traveling at least 55 mph. I hit the pavement, rolled, and somehow found the strength to stand โ and run toward safety.
That experience reshaped how I understand resilience.
Resilience isnโt just about surviving trauma. Itโs about what you do after the fall. Itโs the ability to get back up when the road knocks you down โ whether that road is personal crisis, professional disappointment, leadership pressure, a failed venture, or an unexpected transition.
In our careers and in our lives, we all face moments that feel high-speed and out of control. The question isnโt whether weโll hit the pavement. The question is: Will we rise?
In ๐ฝ๐ ๐ฝ๐ค๐ก๐. ๐ฝ๐ ๐ฝ๐ง๐๐ซ๐. ๐ฝ๐๐ก๐๐๐ซ๐. ๐ฝ๐ ๐ฝ๐ก๐๐จ๐จ๐๐., I share how faith, determination, and disciplined courage helped me turn a life-threatening moment into a leadership mindset grounded in trust, clarity, and conviction.
Resilience is built in the moments you refuse to quit.
