she graduated from southwest texas state university with a bfa in communication design and worked in a variety of graphic design roles before opening carilaza designs in 2012. she loves to collect anything that catches her eye...she’s infamous for starting a project at home and never finishing...and she rarely takes herself too seriously. she is best known as emmitt -the dog’s- mom.
