⬇️ Marketing Tips for 2022 and beyond. ⬇️
I love and have fun with reels and seeing what works well to connect on social media, but the truth is that I also see business and marketing far deeper than that. Here are a few tips that can incredibly useful if you’re looking at building a business with sustainable success!
➡️ #1 REMEMBER THE FULL LANDSCAPE.
Your marketing isn't social media and a website. It's literally everything, the complete landscape. All the pieces together are what make your business successful: communication with clients, doing great work, service after the sale, involvement in our community, word of mouth, the energy and brand of your business, ETC.
➡️ #2 EMBRACE THE FACES.
Humans connect with other humans. So of course it's OK and great to focus on your business, like island real estate, restaurants, supermarkets, yoga, art, shops, or whatever it is you offer... remember... that when we see the face(s) behind the business, we connect with the humans who are making or enjoying the magic!
➡️ #3 NUMBERS = PEOPLE!
It's easy when you start your business or actively engaging in marketing to look at smaller numbers of followers or "likes" or "engagement" or sales. But remember, whatever metrics you are using... the numbers represent PEOPLE. Island friends who have chosen to be some part of your business. Every number is a YES, a nod to connect. It's a cause for celebration! And yes, numbers are data that can help us decipher what's working, as long as we stay rooted in what those numbers represent!
➡️ #4 SOCIAL MEDIA IS JUST ONE PIECE!
Some of our clients have wildly successful businesses yet aren't super engaged in social media. It can be helpful, but remember just a decade or two ago when social media and the internet weren't like now? Businesses existed then too! So when I (Éva) am consulting clients, we look at the full picture and how to make sure the business is functioning well and that time and resources are focused on a mix of short-, mid-, and long-term goals far bigger and deeper
than just some vanity social numbers!
