On this episode of Keeping Up with the Kardraculans… 🧛‍♂️📺

Meet Jonathan Harker: realtor, groom-to-be, and a man with one very important business deal standing between him and happily ever after. 💼💍

Jonathan is preparing to close a deal with an incredibly wealthy new client, Count Dracula, who’s purchasing five properties in London. There’s just one small catch: Jonathan has to travel all the way to Transylvania to make it happen—and he’s heard the terrain can be rather treacherous. 👀

Still, he’s choosing to focus on the future: closing the deal and, of course, marrying Lucy Westfeldt.

Although the upcoming nuptials come with a few nerves of their own. There’s Dr. Westfeldt’s entourage of mental patients serving at the engagement party… and then there’s Mina, Lucy’s sister, whom Jonathan is rather hoping won’t be in attendance.

Apparently, it’s a very… interesting time to be around her. 🩸🦇

Between this mysterious new real estate client, the upcoming trip to Transylvania, and an increasingly complicated family situation waiting back home, what could possibly go wrong?

On the next episode, we’ll hear from the mysterious new client himself: Count Dracula. 🧛‍♂️👀

Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors hits the stage THIS WEEK, October 1–4 at the Rylander Theatre.

On this episode of Keeping Up with the Kardraculans… 🧛‍♂️📺

Meet Lucy Westfeldt: Oxford-educated, newly engaged, and absolutely thrilled to be marrying Jonathan. 💍

Lucy did everything “right.” She got her education at Oxford and prepared for a bright future. Unfortunately, there aren’t exactly a wealth of career opportunities waiting for a woman like her. So… she gets married now.

First up is the engagement party, where her father’s mental patients will be handling the catering. Then, the wedding.

The only slight complication? Her groom-to-be is a realtor with a HUGE upcoming business deal. One that requires a trip all the way to Transylvania first.

What could possibly go wrong? 👀

Little does Lucy know, Jonathan’s trip is about to set off a chain of events that brings something very strange, and a mysterious illness, frighteningly close to home. 🩸

On the next episode, we’ll hear from the businessman and groom-to-be himself: Jonathan Harker. 💼💍

On this episode of Keeping Up with the Kardraculans… 🧛‍♂️📺

Meet Dr. Westfeldt: Behavioral psychiatrist, father of a bride-to-be, and a man with… quite a bit on his plate at the moment.

His daughter Lucy is newly engaged to Jonathan, and his mental patients are apparently handling the catering for the engagement party.

At the same time, his other daughter seems to have come down with a mysterious illness unlike anything he’s encountered in all his years practicing medicine. Naturally, he’s called in the expert: Dr. Jean Van Helsing. 🩺🩸

Hopefully Dr. Van Helsing can get to the bottom of things soon, because Dr. Westfeldt has an engagement—and eventually a wedding—he’d very much like to get over with.

Next up? We’ll hear from the bride-to-be herself. 💍👀

Motivation is unreliable. That’s true in fitness, and it’s REALLY true when you own a business.

Business ownership pretty much guarantees there will be weeks when you’re busy, overwhelmed, uninspired, or simply do not feel like marketing yourself.

The problem is, marketing is way too consequential to depend on whether or not you’re “feelin’ it” that week.

Marketing is what keeps your business visible. It brings new customers in and keeps existing customers coming back. And when it disappears every time life gets busy, eventually your sales notice.

That’s why I’m a big believer in sticking with the plan, not your mood.

I learned that lesson while changing my own life. Now I use the exact same philosophy in my work with small business owners: build the plan, create the rhythm, adjust when you need to, but stop starting from scratch every time motivation disappears.

And if you’d rather somebody else build AND run that plan for you, I think I just heard you say

“Put me in, Coach. I’m ready to play.” 🫡
