Hold onto your hats y’all because it’s a family affair this week. Christopher Solanto was in the kitchen yesterday, my dad is coming tomorrow and my brother in law, Mark Lam, is coming on Friday afternoon when I head to the season finale of the Ghent Farmers Market. Although we’ll miss Jessica Winters smiling face (she is entertaining her entire family this week) we are super excited for Johnny and Mark to help out.

Fun fact: Mark loves to fish and he also sells seafood for J.J. McDonnell & Co. so come on a share some fish tales. Oh yeah he also reps for our families business, cavaliersportswear.

Extended Fun Facts: My sister Rachel, , is taking the lead at cavaliersportswear as Johnny eases into retirement. She is the 4th generation to run the custom screen printing and embroidery biz that has been in our family since 1949. 💪

Johnny Johnson will be holding down the fort at Life Is Gouda 757 headquarters while I attend the season finale of the Kings Grant Farmers Market on Thursday. He’ll be in the shop from 2-5 so make sure you go by and say hi so he’s not lonely. Fun fact: He’s my dad and Memaw of Memaw’s Pimento Cheese was his mama. If you are an OBFM shopper you’ll recognize him from hanging out in our tent. 🧀❤️🧀
