Of all the questions we ask in strategy sessions, we often find *this one* to be the most impactful.
When we ask what your "edge" is, what we mean is: how do you stand out vs. your competition? What should we be highlighting in your brand design that communicates how you're different?
It could be:
-What goes into your product or service
-The benefits or outcomes you provide
-Your own expertise or expert stamps of approval
-Doing something *truly* innovative and different
Whatever it is, you want to make sure that's the thing you're communicating out with your brand.
If you have safe, non-toxic ingredients, your brand needs to communicate that it's natural, safe, and trustworthy (no neon or unnatural colors!)
If you get better results than anyone, you want to project confidence and competence: leave the rounded shapes and playful imagery at home.
See where we're going here? Your "edge" dictates design.
If you want to go deeper, DM "Edge" to me and we'll send you the troubleshooting deck on finding your edge. And always happy to go over it in the DMs- this is one of our favorite things to suss out for clients!
Which one hits for you?
