An empty storefront during buildout is a communication problem, and the fix is printed vinyl on the outside of the glass. At a new THE TOX location in a Carlsbad shopping center opening in March, North Coast Signs installed temporary digitally printed edge-to-edge vinyl window graphics on the exterior of the storefront windows. Exterior application was the right call because vinyl on the outside reads at full color saturation in daylight, while vinyl on the inside gets muted by the window tint. A ten-foot-wide acrylic building sign isn't a graphic you stick up and walk away from. We produced three full-color lobby graphics for quantum computing company IonQ in Vista, each printed, laminated, and cut at 24 by 18 inches for mounting on existing acrylic tiles in a track system. The old graphics came off with plastic-blade scrapers and acrylic-safe solvents to protect the panel surfaces.
