We are adding a new, high-stakes special class to the Show Me The Money schedule! 💰

We know you can complete these patterns with your horse, but the real question is: 𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐞?

It’s time to put your own footwork to the test. This class requires the ultimate athlete to navigate a technical course without their four-legged partner.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞:
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧: A Horsemanship pattern followed by a Performance Trail course—on foot!
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬: Judges will be looking for correct leads, high knees over the lope logs, and a steady "bridle" hand.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐞𝐚𝐫: Full show attire required and a hobbyhorse. (Spurs optional, but please don't trip).

Start practicing those lead changes and polish your showmanship boots!

UC Davis has announced big changes to their sport sponsorship team for 2026-2027, and the changes blindsided the equestrian team and all involved.

Ada Hirschfeld, a rider on the UC Davis Equestrian Team, says, "This decision doesn’t just affect our team, it impacts the entire horse industry by limiting pathways for riders, trainers, vets, and professionals coming up through collegiate programs. We’ve created a petition in hopes of saving it."
